In The Garden

I was sitting in the garden, flowers all around. 

Thinking of my redeemer and his blessings so abound. 

Thankful that he leadeth me through the darkest of my days, knowing his love lifted me.

Forever I'll praise his name.

What a friend I have in Jesus, and I love to tell the story of his precious love for me. I give him all the glory.

 

The light of the world is Jesus, and his amazing grace. 

On the third day he arose with cheer well shout He lives!

 

There is power in the blood of Jesus from our precious Lord and Savior. 

For the light of the world is Jesus and Jesus paid it all on the old, rugged Cross he suffered, some detested what they saw. 

 

God will take care of you, if you just let him.

Trust and obey.

 

And in sweet hour of prayer. 

I pray any evil away, "Have thine own way Lord," 

so my heart and soul won't stray.

For when the roll is called up yonder and your time is near the end.

Make sure your heart is filled with God,

or you will risk ascend. 

 

Jesus said to him,

“I am the way, the truth, and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through Me.

- John 14:6
