Mt. Airy Methodist Church is a community of faith rooted in the love of God. We believe worship is not just found in prayer, it’s something expressed in everything we do.
Mt. Airy Methodist Church deeply rooted in the Holy Scriptures and united to share our commitment to the authority of the Word of God and our mandate to reach the lost through the transforming power of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. - Luke 19:10
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. - Acts 4:12
As it is written according to John 14:6
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. - 2 Timothy 2:9
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. - Romans 10:10
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
- Ephesian 2:8-9
And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. - Romans 3:24-25
As it is written according to Colossians 1:16-20
For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
